Will they bring back the two characters on Kart like in Double Dash?

Seeming that this has only been done once, anyone think they will? It would be nice to have something like this back in later installments. Not to mention you're able to play as two of your favorite characters at the same time. Heck, if Nintendo does decide to bring this back, they should as well bring back Power Ups for each character.
