Will We Ever See a DS/3DS Player For The WiiU Or Any Other Future Home Console?

Remember the gameboy player for the gamecube? about a year after i had my 1st DS (original blue) i was wondering if nintendo would make some sort of DS player for the wii, obviously that never happened. They did make a gameboy player (gameboy/gameboy color only obviously) for the SNES (saw it at a flea market) i wouldnt call it one but maybe theres a pattern here

NES - none

SNES - GB/GBC player

N64 - None

GC - Gameboy Advance/Color (not sure if it played original gameboy games, i imagine it wouldve)

Wii - none

WiiU - ???

the Wii controller has a touch screen so that solves my only concern if they actually make a DS/3DS player having one, but do you think nintendo will have one? ill be honest, i dont think theres much of a chance, but if there is one, ill be convinced theres a pattern and the next console after the WiiU will have a (insert new handheld here) player

I don't think they will. Just doesn't seem as cool anymore.
 
Maybe.

I don't think there's a way to tell at this point. Heck, the WiiU hasn't even been released yet and it probably all depends on how successful WiiU will be...
