Yes, since you can't remove Internet Explorer 8 easily in Windows 7, so I might as well Update to 9 when it is released. Eventhough, I would not be using IE 9 much.

Internet Explorer's rendering engine is also used throughout Windows and with third-party applications as an embeddable component.

So having the latest version of IE may improve the performance of Windows 7 when using IE's rendering engine in software programs.

It is also a good idea to keep whatever program up to date to protect your PC from viruses and spyware sort of like people who still use Internet Explorer 6 may be more likely to get a virus compared to Internet Explorer 8.

I am also going to update it.

But, I'm only going to use it to see how a web page looks. I would use FF more, ;)

I'm trying out Internet Explorer 9 Beta and it is working pretty well.

Things I like about IE 9 so far...
  • IE doesn't slow down my computer speed and it has not crash on me yet.
  • Websites seem to load "a lot" quicker, and look nicer in IE 9.
  • I like how IE 9 combine the search box with the address textbox.
  • Youtube and flash based websites seems to load faster compared to Internet Explorer 8.
  • It also does not lag when scrolling up and down pages.

Cool Video Review I found on IE9

http://twitter.com/chrispirillo - http://facebook.com/chrispirillo - http://chris.pirillo.com - The beta for Internet Explorer 9 was officially released this morning during a press conference. This streamlined version has a better user experience and is far faster than any previous iteration of the application. With this release, Microsoft is asking us to "unlock the beauty of the web." Matthew was kind enough to prepare this screencast so that all of you can see the bells, whistles, improvements and new features you can expect with IE 9. http://www.youtube.com/thematt7000

I wonder if Microsoft will just slip Internet Explorer 9 in Windows Update like previous versions of IE, so more people will update to Internet Explorer 9 in Windows Vista and 7 when they update Windows automatically.

I don't see anything wrong with updating to Internet Explorer 9 even if you are not a fan of Internet Explorer since it is best to update all software made by Microsoft and other companies to the latest version, so you are less likely to get a virus and your computer runs better. At least, you are stuck with a newer and faster version of Internet Explorer.

I be a fool to upgrade, had to say what fail things and exploits are on it.

Indeed, but IE9 fix some of the bugs and security exploits in IE 8. I notice some software programs I install uses IE 8 to launch their website whenever you check for updates, uninstall or install a program to ask you to fill out a survey on a computer no matter what browser like Firefox, Chrome is set to your default browser.
