I just got myself plus tonight and to make sure my money don't go to a waste what settings should I have my program on to ensure it works right since there is a lot of tabs on it?

I just set all the monitors for each tab which has a "monitor" icon to "real-time" for extra security. http://www.winpatrol.com/rid.html is a useful link.

In the tab called Options, There are two clock icon Detect Changes in Internet Explorer Home and Search Pages, Warn if changes are made to my Interney Host and critical System files can be set to be Monitor in-Real-time.

The rest of the settings can be left as default. I post more as I learn more about WinPatrol Plus since I just been using it for a day and find it pretty useful at stopping programs which want to start up when Windows start up. Plus, protecting my PC.

You might also want to consider disabling Scotty's barks.. they can get annoying if you are trying to install something, and the program makes a change to your registry, installs a BHO, or adds itself to your Startup.

I'll keep that in mind but I don't install or change stuff much.
