I swear to GOD it's like my computer is tempting me to let out a rampage. I recently updated my computer, and once I did, Windows Aero shut off and wouldn't come back on no matter what tutorial I did. I tried the Aero troubleshooting, then adding DWM in to the registry, restarting the service but it wouldn't show up in the Aero troubleshooter. My Windows Experience Index Score is 3.1, minimum requirements to run Aero, are 3.0, and as I said before Aero was already previously enabled. Can anyone help before I decide to stone this unholy abomination in my garage?
Aero should be under personalization. Turn it on there. Make sure you are not booting in safe mode. Safe mode boots in lowest resolution, lowest graphics setting mode.
Sorry if I'm not much help. I'm a certified IT guy, but my main OS is Linux Debian, so I can't really troubleshoot for you. I do suggest you try Linux, even just on a small partition because it's a lot better than Windows in my opinion. If you are a gamer, Steam now runs on Linux and many games are being ported over.
I understand lol, thanks for trying, also! I guess I'll just have to upgrade my graphics card, because it's currently the only way I see out of this problem haha
