Yes, I suspect most of the PSN gamers who want to go online to game are currently using their PC to game online if their PC is fast enough to run the games they want to play.
Plus, the paranoid and people who value their personal information being private, will probably play PC games which do not require you to enter in your address, phone number, credit card info, real name, date of brith, etc.
Indeed, I'm good with just giving out my Hotmail username and password to sign up for Live and using those Xbox live points and gold membership cards since I don't use my hotmail e-mail for important stuff except chatting on MSN.
Personally, I'll probably go back to playing games online on PS3 simply because not all the games I want to play can be played on the PC. (Resistance 3, for example, is PS3 exclusive...) Plus I'm not sure if my computer could handle all the newest games. Besides, Sony already has my info and there isn't much I can do about that now. (Unless we, as consumers, demand that we be given the option to erase our personal data from their systems to prevent this sort of thing from happening.) So I might as well play online anyway.
Will others though? That's hard to say for certain. I'd imagine some will. But only time will tell exactly what is going to happen.
