When Blizzard patches World of Warcraft to version 4.3, a number of things will change. First, you'll be able to finally take down Deathwing. It's an encounter Blizzard is claiming will be the most extensive in the already gigantic game; a multi-phase battle that may, at one point, involve riding on the top of Deathwing's back in mid-flight while still in combat. Three new five-man instances will also be added leading up to this encounter.

For those of you more concerned about looks than stats, in 4.3 you'll be able to reskin powerful equipment with the visual designs of other pieces of gear. That means if you have a high-level piece of armor and so does everyone else in your guild to the point where everyone looks the same, you can pair the statistics of your high level gear with another matching item in your inventory. There are restrictions on this system – armor swapping needs to be within armor types (there's no applying a cloth design to plate) and you can't put a pants pattern on your shoulders. But at least you can customize how the higher level sets look without sacrificing the precious attached numbers.

Considering that means you might start carrying even more gear than you already do, a second bank type, called the Void Bank, will open up in 4.3. Unsurprisingly you'll need to pay for storage with gold, but if you're still deep into World of Warcraft at this point, it's probably money well spent. Items put into the Void Bank will lose any gems and enchantments attached to them, making this bank ideal for your cosmetic gear.

Banding together with others for raids sounds like it'll be easier than ever in 4.3, as Blizzard is adding a raid finder, similar to the dungeon finger already in the game. This new finder can search for up to 25 man raids and will try to select the best mix of classes given the number of needed slots for healers, tanks and damage dealers.
