Possibly, I think more people will buy a netbook if it came with a 32GB SSD which can be bought for $39.99 or less.

32GB is enough space to install most versions of Linux,  and Windows 7-8.1 which can be installed on a drive as small 20GB drive. Plus, you have some space left over for installing a few programs, and storing a lot of documents, photos, and other small files.

Depends on how many people know the difference between HDD and SDD. At this time I don't think there really is much difference between the two.

The sales person or TV/internet advertisement will most likely show them the faster speeds of a SSD when logging into Windows, opening multiple files, and programs at once, and the buyer will be amazed by the speed, and may buy the SSD Netbook because of its faster drive speeds.
