I think it is possible that more people will embed more video then pictures, links, or even text in the future on forums, blogs, and websites since all you need to do is paste the embed code or download a Mod to make embedding YouTube, and other online videos from different sites easier.

Twitter, Google Plus, Tumblr, Wordpress.com, Blogspot, and Facebook also makes embeding video very easy. All you need to do is paste the video link address, and the site will convert it into a embeded video.

Plus, you don't have to find a file host like Photobucket, or your own web host to upload and copy the BBCODE or HTML code to embed a video on a website since it is already hosted on YouTube.

Plus, a lot of people don't know how to make a text link with HTML code, or too lazy to paste articles on a website since they have to read an article to see if it is worth pasting, and a lot of articles online are "Too long Didn't Read/TLDR". Plus, a lot of websites don't want readers from copying, and pasting their articles since they are afraid Google and other search engines will rank their content lower because it is not original or fresh because a lot of other sites have the same articles which could mean lower search engine traffic, or search rankings.

I think your wrong with them not learning HTML, I've noticed schools are offering more computer classes that would teach stuff like that.

Most sites these days don't really require much or any HTML skills like Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, Tumblr, Google Plus, Joomla, Drupal, etc. Visual user interfaces have taken over popularity online since if you know how to use Notepad, MS Word, or other typing programs, learning how to use WordPress, Joomla, etc post editor to make a post online requires no HTML skills to make a post. You can also post, organize and categorize all your articles on a site easier with a CMS or blogging software like WordPress because of categories and tags.

Many HTML sites these days are also made with visual editors like Kompozer, Frontpage, Dreamweaver, and Artisteer since they are easier to use, and save more time compared to manually typing each individual HTML TAG to make a website for people who never been to school to take any web design classes.

WordPress, Blogger, Tumblr, and many other sites also has a lot of MODs and add-ons to make it easier for the average joe who doesn't want to go to web design school to post a video from YouTube, and other popular video sharing site by just clicking on a button and pasting a link in a textbox, or just pasting the link, and the visual editor will automatically convert your video link into a embedded video.

HTML is good for customization of a theme, but you can also use Visual editors to go under the hood to quickly customize and fix problems with your website in seconds to minutes by visually fixing problems rather then manually typing and removing text, CSS codes, and there is less of a chance of you messing up your theme even more by typing the wrong code or deleting the wrong code since Visual editors usually stop you from deleting codes you should not delete, or you can visually see what codes you are removing or adding, and how they look in a web browser.

All a visual editor does is let you visually edit your website code in a visual user interface like how MS Word lets you visually type and move around pictures without you having to code it into your word document.

WordPress also now let you create menus in the sidebar if you are using a newer theme like the default TwentyEleven. This can save a lot of time since there will be fewer coding errors, and typos.

There are also now themes which let you visually change the look of a WordPress theme in seconds.

Artisteer makes creating custom WordPress themes easy with its visual editor, but if you want to change the code, you can still edit the PHP and CSS files which Artisteer will make for you to upload and install in WordPress to change the theme.

Artisteer cost 49.95 for the Home and Academic version, and 129.95 for the Professional version with more features at http://www.artisteer.com/?p=purchase .

It cost money, but you save a lot of time making custom themes for your blogs, and websites. I think you can also sell the themes as long as you use your own images and pictures which you created in Gimp, PhotoShop or took with your own camera.
