Yes, I think people who want the "best" graphics, sound, and gameplay might become PC gamers if no new consoles are released in the next few years since the realism, sound, and gameplay on PC is always improving since everytime Nvidia and ATI release a new video card or AMD and Intel releases a new CPU, PC game makers can make more realistic game because of better computer hardware.

Very High End computers these days use Solid State Flash Drive, so the load time will also improve. The down side is high end gaming PCs cost $1000 and up.

I don't think I'll ever be much of a PC gamer. For a really good gaming computer, it costs a couple thousand bucks.

PC have came down in a lot in price.

I think back in the 80s-90s PC cost thousands of dollars and can't do much, but these days a $800-1000 dollar PC can play lots of games at medium quality settings.

I think if your into MMORPG like Everquest, Second Life, World of Warcraft, Neverwinter nights, Final Fantasy 11, etc then PC might be best for you since it has the most MMOs.

I dont think people would leave switch to pc games that quick since there are a lot of hardcore console gamers. Plus theres always new games being made so not many people will switch to pc games.
