Would Tabs replace Windows for non-browser programs?

Yes, I think there would be more tabbed programs like word processors, photo editing programs, etc instead of using Windows to open multiple files, you can just have them open in multiple tabs.

I think opening multiple versions of the same software like Microsoft Word in Windowed form will use more memory then tabs since Tab browsers are mostly faster then Windowed browsers with multiple windows open per website instead of tabs.
