Yes, I think there be more web based programs then offline programs since more people are online these days, and there are already a lot of offline programs for doing stuff compared to web based programs.

Plus, it is easier to promote, and share web based programs like http://keepvid.com which is used to download YouTube videos to your PC.

no, I don't want my programs to be based on online. If it's one thing I learned, you never have a 24/7 stable connection to the net.

Web based programs are cheaper since they are usually free to use for home users, but I agree the internet can be unreliable unless you have more then one internet connections.

But, in the future, most of what we do might be done online like Yahoo News, News Blogs, and YouTube might or already is more popular then regular news, so more reporters will use online programs to create, publish, and share their content with their audience on a website rather then TV and paper.

A lot of people are using Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyrolls, and YouTube to watch shows online because it is cheaper, or free in some cases.

Very true, I think the only way broadband is more stable is if you subscribe to multiple broadband companies. Some rich people subscribe to more then one broadband connection from different companies, and lots of schools subscribe to 3 internet companies, so if one company goes down, they still have 2 connections to connect to the internet.
