Sure, I bought some games and electronic goods like cables, VCRs, phones and DVD players from a super market when they are on sale. I think as long as the store has a good return policy then I shop there for my tech needs.
Plus, I'm less likely to get a lecture from an employee on the importants of a extended warranty for electronics unlike some big names stores like Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc.
I tend to buy store brand batteries for my remote controls, and wall clocks since they last a decent amount of time, and cost less then rechargeables, energizers, and Duracells.
I have been known to buy cd players, televisions and mobile phones from a grocery store to be honest, the last TV I bought from there lasted me around 5 years which was when I bought a new one and when I got a new one I sold that one and from what I understand it's still going strong today
I bought a lot of video games, rechargeable batteries, and other stuff from a Super Market which is similar to "Wal-Mart", but it is called "Super Store" and has fewer people who look like they live in the "Southern US". I save on average $5-15 dollars compared to buying them at Best Buy, Toys 'R' Us, and many major electronics dealers.
