I really don't get how people can forget about their parents who are kind to them

I mean, not everyone has parents who are kind. That said, it depends on the situation for me as well. Like, if I'm dating someone they don't like, I'm not going to stop dating this person I like just because they don't like them.

there are a lot of factors when deciding something like this. Many cannot drop everything at once.

Well, I suppose I don't get that.
I usually give the first priority to my parents. Others would take the second place. That hasn't changed at all
