Would you forgive a cheating partner?

Cheating in marriages can be the deal breaker for a lot of people as they can't let go. For me, it won't be easy to forgive a cheating partner. How would you react to your partner cheating?
 
Depends on the situation and other factors.

I can forgive a cheating partner but if he/she is ready to change after taking him back.
 
If that were to happen they will get what they deserve in judgement and also have to pull more of the weight around the house or job.
 
I can forgive as I believe forgiveness is for US to heal. However, forgetting & then trusting is another matter. I wouldn't be able to trust that person & would always be suspicious of things I shrugged off before. That's no way to live.
I have never cheated nor been cheated on & I'm very thankful for that. I honestly cannot fathom what goes through somebody's mind to hurt their loved one in such an intimate fashion.

Heartbreak is not something that anyone would want to experience at all.

I can forgive a person but forgetting the transgression and trusting them again is a different story. I feel like I would be suspicious of the person from then on.

People can even die of a broken heart! Mental becomes a physical affliction.

That's the way I am. I've forgiven many people for a variety of things. But they'll stay at arm's length from now on.
 
I can forgive a partner for cheating if she sincerely apologize for cheating, and is very committed to making lifestyle changes like not going on dating websites to meet other people offline or online to be intimate with.
 
There's no room for a cheating partner in my life. If she cheated on me, it means I was never enough for her. Why take her back? I would be giving her the opportunity to kill me next chance she get.
 
I think it's hard to forgive a cheater, because the trust is broken. Impossible? No, but very difficult. It would take time, but it is doable. If you love the person, then definitely, it's a possibility, but trust is a must.

What guarantees do you have your cheating partner would cheat again? None. They will cheat again if they did it the first time. Cut your losses on time and move on.
