Sure, if I heard/read a lot of positive reviews of the college on TV by former students who are employed in their choosen Career and how the course help them find a job and keep it, and the price is not overly expensive since most of those school being advertise on TV are private Colleges which cost more then Public Colleges.
I think it just depends on what you are looking for in your school and then you have to weigh all your options.
The first college I went to was a local community college, they advertised on tv, the radio, and at the movie theater. I didn't go because of the advertisements though. I went because they offerred a fantastic nursing program and I could afford it. (I was a single mom when I went to college.)
My current college (my second one) also advertises locally, but once again, I did not choose it because of it's advertisements. I chose it because it gave me the most transfer options with the classes I took at my frist college and it had the best (IMO) RN-BSN program out of all the schools I looked at.
My next college will be based on the transferability of my credits and the program they offer, whether they advertise means very little to me because I will be investigating a lot to be sure I find the right next school for me.
