Would you pay for an ad-free membership to a website?

I notice IGN and other websites has an option for visitors to be a paid member, and the ads dissapear. I would not pay for an ad-free membership unless it came with other stuff like exclusive access to full games, videos, or music.

it depends on how much I love the site and how full it is of ads.

I've only done this once on the online game, billy vs snakeman and even with no ads you get added bonus as well.

No...the only time I pay for no ads on websites is my own forums and that's more for the members anyway.

No.. because I can always block the ads by using Opera's block content feature, or I can disable javascript..

True, but if you are using someone else's computer. There are good odds they do not have Ad-blocking software. I think paying for an ad-free site is not a bad deal if it also include full episodes wiht no-commercials in anime, movies,or other ad-free content like manga. Having a random ad pop-up in a video on a website video like youtube videos can be frustrating.

It is kind of annoying that there are previews, trailers in DVDs, and the movie theature.
