Would you upgrade to a SSD Solid State Drive?

It is unlikely that I upgrade to a SSD since my computer is old, and I rather save my money for for a new PC, but I will be willing to buy a new computer with a SSD pre-installed on it if it also has enough space for all my files and programs, and it is affordable.
 
They're nice, and prices have been dropping, but I don't think the speed benefit is worth the sacrificed space. I really wouldn't say standard HDDs are slow enough to warrent it for most people.
 
I agree, and if you use a low system resource operating system like PuppyLinux, TinyCore Linux, Lubuntu, Xubuntu etc the speed difference might not be as noticeable as a heavier operating system like Windows 7/Vista.
 
I'll be sticking to HDD for a few more years yet.
