Set to join the paid name changes, server transfers, race changes, faction changes and appearance changes come two more pay-to-undo-your-terrible-decision services for World of Warcraft: the ability to transfer your guild to a new server, and the ability to rename your guild.

The services follow the guild progression system that World of Warcraft: Cataclysm introduced, wherein guild members gain reputation within their own guild to unlock special features as in-game tasks are completed. The progression also includes a leveling system with perks and unique items that can only be purchased from a guild vendor.

Normally, transferring your character to a new server would result in you materializing with no guild, which would wreak havoc with long-standing guilds and their members who have unlocked plenty of goodies. These services are designed to allow entire guilds to transfer servers (although individuals each have to pay for their own $25 character transfer). The name change is, assumedly, in case you did something dumb like name your guild Pockets Full of Magic.

While the guild server transfer forum post states that character whose guild has been transferred need only transfer to the same server to find themselves in the same guild, at the same rank, and with the same guild bank, no details about what the time window on such transfers will be, or how much they will cost. Chances are, they will cost more than they probably should, but plenty of people will pay it. After all, it is World of Warcraft.
