My 3DS keeps glitching on LMDM... i put it in sleep mode and when i open it, no sound is coming out, even though its up all the way. i press the HOME button and it freezes. then i turn it off and back on to get it working again. do i need to get a new 3DS? all help is appreciated!!!
Secondly; is it a digital download or a hard copy of the game? If it is a digital version it could be tied to the way the 3DS reads the content stored on the SD Cards whilst in sleep mode. That would be my guess since I can't find anything online about it. If it is a hard copy of the game, then you should check the cartridge could have heat damage, water damage, scratches on the tint, or any number of things wrong with it. If it is the 3DS itself it would do it to other 3DS games with multiplayer in them, presumably. If you have another online-ready multiplayer 3DS game, try it with that and see if it is doing the same. It may just need some dust cleaned out of it or it may be damaged for being banged, heat, or water damaged. Again, there are numerous possibilities.
OK, NOW something's wrong with Sticker Star. It's a game cartridge, and when I opened my 3DS to exit Sleep Mode, it was still in sleep mode. Had to turn it off.

Is the game cartridge inserted the 3DS before you boot it? It shouldn't matter but it MIGHT help. My DS Lite does this all the time, thank god the 3DS can play DS games.

Well, there's that one time where I dropped my 3DS on the ground (I was carrying too much), and only a few dents were there. Then there's another time where my crotch aimed a bit over the toilet while I was playing my 3DS (ASK AND DIE.), and ended up getting urine on the screen. No problem noticed since either of those two accidents happened. By the way, don't you DARE ask what I was doing on the toilet with my 3DS. If my girlfriend has an account on this forums site, and she reads this, she'll laugh at me. Then I will isolate myself from the world.
Sorry to be the one telling you this, but you need to send it for repairs and it will cost you around $65 to get it fix. A similar situation happened to me.
