There was three bits of news today for Xbox's online service Live. Coming soon Xbox live gold members will be getting 2 free games every month to keep for good with the first two games being Assassins Creed 2 and Halo 3.

The next piece of news is that Xbox live points will soon be discontinued and replaced with your country's currency.

It's unknown if this will only be for the Xbox one or all services that uses points.

The last piece is Twitch integration which will work with the game DVR to upload footage to all your socal media friends.  The following was said at the conference:

Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to upload their gameplay videos directly to TwitchTV, and they can also stream TwitchTV content hassle-free on the Xbox One.

This way, Microsoft will be able to "deliver breakthrough experiences where any gamer can become a broadcaster,” according to Chief Product Officer Marc Whitten.

Price of Xbox Live Gold membership will not increase.
 
Those free games are AWESOME!
I've played AC2 but not Halo 3. But it will be cool to have them free and I can work on getting AC2 achievements.

I guess that will be about 10 free games? Depends if they give 2 free games in November or not.

And 100's of new games for 360 over the coming years, pretty awesome to hear that especially for those not wanting to move to the ONE any time soon.

Sony is still offering more with their services. On top of this MS still has yet to address all the negative comments on their system. I could tell during there conference, there sticking a few banks worth of money into Xbox one. The titles are there, but they must still convince their fan base that Xbox one works better than explained.

Yet you continue with all the negativity. I'd be surprised the day you actually say anything good about Microsoft.
 
Ms is a good company, I do wish I had a Xbox 360 as it has several games I wish to play but I lack the time and money to get it. The Xbox one system is just a fools system as that is how MS has displayed it. I don't hate because I hate, I hate on what MS has told me.
