sourceXbox One will launch in Japan on September 4, Microsoft has confirmed.
The news ends months of speculation about when the company's latest console will be available in the Japanese market, seeing as Sony's PS4 arrived there in February.
There's no news about how much the console will cost, though 48 game developers including the likes of Capcom, Square Enix and SEGA have all pledged to support the console in the region.
Microsoft previously announced it'd be bringing the Xbox One to 26 new countries this September; the above date, however, only pertains to the Japanese release for now. Expect announcements on the other 25 regions in due course.
It's going to be a dead market for the Xbox one.
