Xbox One Promotional Price Coming to an End

The recent promotional pricing for the Xbox One is about to come to a close. The current price for the Xbox One, which is $350 USD, will end on January 3 and the price will return to $400, Microsoft said.

That means that the promotional bundles, such as the Assassin's Creed Unity Xbox One  bundle, along with the Assassin's Creed bundle with Kinect, will be returning to their regularly scheduled price point. The bundle includes both Unity and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

Of course, this doesn't necessarily signal the end of Xbox One deals and savings. Retailers are still free to put the console on sale, or to offer promotions, as they see fit. Currently many retailers are offering additional savings with the already reduced-price bundles, including $50 gift cards, vouchers for Xbox Live, or free games with purchase.

I can't imagine how much money they lost though, I hear Sony is still trying to make up for the current cost of the PS4.

Last I heard they lost money. Vita sales aren't helping either.
