Reviews are starting to come out on the Xbox one, and the system looks to be shaping up but it's something you shouldn't buy right away till everything is brought up to standards and ironed out.
I'm not really swayed by these reviews to buy a Xbox One since the Xbox One does not really have many games I want to play, and I already own a PC which is good enough for multimedia, music, and TV features like DVR.
many reviews aren't swaying to buy though, most I've seen are saying just wait a year for all bugs to be ironed out. Also the reviews have been updated since the first posting.
Though it's clear that the kinect isn't always working, so I don't get how this could be fixed.
I think waiting a year or more for a console to come out before buying is a good idea for any console buyer since many of the bugs would be fixed, and there would be more games, and cheaper games from Used Games and "Previously Played/Greatest hits games which cost $19.99-39.99 because they're old" section at stores.
It took many years for Microsoft to fix the Red Ring of Death when they release the Black slim version of the Xbox 360 which is less likely to RROD after a few month or a year.
Maybe Microsoft can make an adapter which goes over the Kinect camera to make it work better, or fix the Kinect in future versions of the Kinect which maybe smaller, and more reliable like how the Wii now has Wii Motion Plus adapter built-in to new Wiimotes.
