With April approaching, we were a bit worried that Xenoblade wouldn't make its tentative Spring release time frame in Japan. Nintendo eased those worries somewhat with the start of what will hopefully be a big push for the Monolith-developed RPG.
Nintendo opened a full an official site for the game today, sharing a sweet new trailer and some world details.
The trailer, accessible under the trailers section of the site, is titled "Genesis." It details the prologue and shows an intense battle, eventually zooming out to show the full world.
That world appears to be one of the main points of interest in the game. As detailed in the prologue, Xenoblade begins long in the past as two giant gods, Kyojin and Kishin, wage a great battle. The two gods turn to corpses while their swords are locked in conflict. Xenoblade is set atop those corpses.
