Sega Japan is bringing back a promotion that it staged for Yakuza Kenzan back when that title hit the Japanese PS3 in early 2008. The company announced today a collaboration with food maker Ace Cook for the release of Yakuza 3 cup ramen. The product will hit convenience stores, grocery shops and other such places on March 2, priced at 220 yen.
Different from the Kenzan promotion, this one will go both ways. When playing Yakuza 3, players will find a shop called Kyushu Ichibanboshi. This just happens to be the same name as the new ramen product. Head into the shop, and the shop manager will tell you the story behind the real world product's development.
