I wonder if it's worth playing the original over the remaster? I never played the original game, I've heard good things about it but I'm sure this fixes lots of issues people had with the original game.

The original game, while fun was... a hot mess in areas. I had troubles beating the final boss and gave up. So I'm wondering if this remaster fixes those issues.
