Yoshi's new island is a bust

Well, as sad as it seems it appears yoshi's new island has been somewhat of a bust. The first thing you see when looking for a review of it is 3's 4's and more 3's. People have said the game is bad and a waste. Why do you think this happened? Do you agree it's a bust.
