GamingBolt has put together a handy guide to help you build a suitable gaming PC for the same price as a PS4 or an Xbox One.
These are the components GamingBolt used:
This is a pretty good gaming computer for $399.
It's crazy how building your own computer is becoming more affordable these days. I bet in a few months or a year, this computer would cost $199-299 because there would be newer and better computer parts which would cause older parts to drop in price because of newer parts costing the same.
It great to see that this computer uses a dedicated seperate video card instead of slower onboard video which is common on cheaper computers from PC makers like HP, Dell, and Lenovo.
If you already own a keyboard, and mouse, you can save the extra $15, and use the money to buy a 1.5TB hard drive for $60 online instead of a 500GB drive for $50 since a 1.5 TB drive cost $10 dollars more than a 500GB drive.
