But why? Is it like a sick twisted joke? Was it supposed to be like one of those easter eggs that wasn't meant to be found for many years. Can you play SSBB like that and no one has ever tried?

That's interesting..I'm guessing it's because the bongos just imitate the pressing of the A button on the GC controller.

The moment I saw this I think it would be neat to make a game out of only using the Bongos but move closer if needed (with any character). Makes me wonder if you can replace your controller in the middle of an online battle on the Wii U but probably not unless you programmed it to work.

Well, is there anything saying what kind of Gamecube controller you started with, if you used the adaptor? Because if not, you could switch from a GCN controller to the bongos to the Wavebird at will...
