Your Favourite TES

Most of us have played at least one of the TES games and I was wondering which one is your favourite.

When I was younger, I used to play Morrowind, but it didn't last long. Oblivion dazzled me with the colours, but somehow I didn't play that one long either. I remember the dungeon and the forest... and that's about it. Navigating through the capital was so puzzling. I do remember that I liked picking flowers, though, and that I got overcumbered!! By picking flowers! There must have been so many...

When Skyrim came out, I liked it instantly. It's the only one of the TES games that I'd finished. The world was simply stunning. Plus, I'd began playing it when my brother installed the world enhancement mod, so it was something really special and visually appealing. I still play it on occasion.

My brother likes Morrowind the most. He played all three as well, but something is special about Morrowind. I don't know. I didn't play it long enough to fall in love with it back then and I don't think that the graphics will make me fall in love with it now. We've come to expect the best of the best... of the present. "The best of the best of the past" doesn't seem to leave us breathless, except if we used to play it when it was "the best of the best of the present"

So, what about you? Do you like one TES in particular or can you say that all of them are your favourites? Which ones did you like and which not?

Skyrim probably. It would be Oblivion but the people look like corpses and I can't get over it it freaks me out.

Skyrim looks fine, has plenty to do and explore and tons of mods though.

My favorite Elder Scrolls game is Daggerfall. I grew up on this game and honestly it is the best one out of the series. There were a lot of cool little exploits you could do in the game like waiting in a shop until it was night time to rob them or sleeping out inthe middle of no where knowing someone would try to attack you. There were many ways to trigger events and I found that exciting. Traveling the world took awhile too, the game was very very large for its time. I liked how you could develop your skills by just using them, this allowed me to get my jumping skill so high that I could easily jump to the top of roof tops whenever I got into trouble and pick people off. The lore also felt more real, more interesting, with the newer games I have found myself less interested in the world itself.

I remember blindly hating TES for a while because I couldn't find the key at the start of Oblivion. My favourite is probably Skyrim though. It felt like such a large immersive world with lots to do and I still go back to it every now and then because TES games are so replayable. I completed Oblivion and Morrowind as well but nothing could keep me as hooked for as long as Skyrim has.

All the ones I've played (Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim). They're all amazing and unique games in their own ways, I don't like to list them or call any of them "worse" than the others.

Although I guess Morrowind just might be my favourite because of the nostalgia. But all of them kept me busy and interested for quite a while, and I love to praise them.

My favorte TES is definitely Morrowind. No Elder Scrolls game has come even close to the feeling and atmosphere that game gave you. The gameplay mechanics were genius as well, and if you compare them to Skyrim, you will see that Skyrim is pathetic in comparison. The fact that they streamlined it and took out magic customization options, is unforgivable in my opinion.
