We all have things that we will wish to achieve in life. A lot that we hope to buy. Do we need all of that or are some of them just wants? How do you make the differences?

We need money for a house. But then you need money for food, and then that could include money for retirement and medical needs later in life. There are a lot that can barely afford what they need and you never know when the taxes outweigh the input from a job.

One's needs are those things that you can not do without like food, money and cloths etc while wants are those things one can do without like owning a car, landed properties etc.

Money is a need, but it is a multi-layered one. Not many things you can do with money if you already have your needs met. The problem is that people use money as a foundation for order and reason.

I want everything but I can't have everything. It's only the ones I need that matters because they take priority. I can do without all my wants but not my needs.

My hubby and I, we buy what we "need" first. Any money left over then we can buy what we "want".

My hubby knows I have one rule.....

I don't care if you spend money on wants as long as you leave me enough money to pay the bills.

Our bills takes the priority because they can never be sidetracked. If they are not paid, you're going to find yourself in a big mess.

Things like utility bills, phone, internet are needs (first priority). Everything else.... yeah I gotta control the 'wants'. Been holding back on 'impulse buys' haha

Some of us want the internet to me free of charge too which is never going to happen anyways lol.
It's amazing what we pay for the internet! Even TV is pricey.

That's how we work too. We splurge every now & then but the bills ALWAYS come first. We are debt free, no mortgage, & want to stay that way.
