Zelda has always been my favorite series so it's no surprise to see it on the list this much. Wind Waker was my first GC game and I'll always have a soft spot for it. Left 4 Dead, Minecraft, and Halo are the 3 games I poured hundreds of hours into during college. Super Mario Galaxy needs no explanation. BioShock was the first game I played that had a deep story and the atmosphere had me captivated. Ocarina of Time captivated me the way Link's Awakening did. Sadly, I never had a Nintendo 64. I only got little tastes of the game when I played it at my friend's house. I finally got to beat it when I got the Collector's Edition on GC. I played a ton of Age of Kings when I was in HS, and then I played quite a bit more when the HD update came out. Who doesn't like amassing resources and then rolling over the map like a plague with 200 paladins? Resident Evil 4 is the first horror game I played, and it was a fantastic introduction the genre. Rounding out the top 10 is Red Dead Redemption. Whenever I play open world games these days, I can't help but wish they had the smooth shooting mechanics of RDR.
