Your views on paying a lot for high-end gadgets?

I think it is kind of wasteful unless the guy plans to sell it for more money to another guy that is willing to pay more for a luxury item like a "Gold Cellphone, Gold Wii, etc".

Sort of like when the Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3 got released. People were selling it on Ebay for hundreds of dollars more then the Retail price on Ebay or Craigslist.

a lot of money is wasted on buying brand new tech. I can see buying it just to sell it for more but then you take the risk of not finding a sucker to buy it.

Good point. I guest it is better to just get paid to stand in-line with others people's money to buy a new tech. product.

Sorry but I will not be shelling out big $$$ for something that won't put food on my table, clothes on my back, shoes on my feet, a roof over my head or a MetroCard in my hand..
