I think it is annoying that people make pop-ups which are harder to stop because the pop-up uses flash animation, javascript, or is built-in to the template somehow.
But, I give them props for finding new ways to annoy their visitors with pop-up ads.
those popup advertisements which cover the whole website are totall c*ap. why would anyone buy anything from those companies which annoy people to death with their stupid ads?
I dislike ads which cover the whole website, and you have to wait 10 seconds for them to redirect you to the website homepage. I also dislike ads which is the entire background image of a website since if you click on the background image by accident, your web browser goes to the ad page.
I agree with you. another nauseating ones are the flash advertisements with music. you're listening your favourite song and then that audio waste reaches your ears. then i just wanna scream.
Indeed, I have auto-play flash ads, videos, and songs on websites since it is annoying. I wonder do they also make your internet slow since flash video and songs tend to need a lot of speed to load quickly.
It would stink to be on a slower connection, and have to deal with autoplay flash video, and songs which take up a lot of bandwidth on dial-up and cheap low quality Cable or DSL broadband connections.
