YouTube Live vs. Twitch.tv

YouTube has been focusing on promoting their live streaming feature called YouTube Live, in order to compete with Twitch. An increased number of gamers have been ignoring YouTube lately in favor of Twitch.tv, because the latter makes the interaction with their viewers much easier.

Which one do you prefer for live streaming: YouTube Live https://www.youtube.com/my_live_events or Twitch http://www.twitch.tv/ ?

twitch, but I fear when it gets too popular, the same bad things that happened to youtube will happen to twitch.

I prefer YouTube Live since I am already a member YouTube, so I do not need to make a new account, setup a new profile, or go to a different website since I am already on YouTube.com watching a music video, news video, or other videos.

I find myself using twitch more than youtube.

YouTube streams used to be a pretty big thing, nowadays I see very few gamers use them... they would rather use Twitch it would seem.

I wonder why... :ermm: It would seem rational for big YouTubers to use the service provided by the same website that made them famous...

Yeah, since they already have an existing base of people who will use that service already. I guess maybe the features are not as good?
