When I go and try to upload a youtube video and I get this page when I click on the upload link:

youtubepic.PNG

No matter how long I wait, it just says loading with no options of uploading a video. It shows up on all both firefox and chrome and I did a F5 to see if that would work and it didn't. anybody know what's up?

This is also my first youtube video upload.

Strange there is usually a Yellow upload button. You can try uploading it at a latter time.

still there, anybody else have this problem?

edit, found the problem: read here

Cannot start the upload process - the page gets stuck loading

Some of your are reporting that you're unable to upload video files to the site. When you try to upload a file, the upload page gets stuck loading and the upload process doesn't initiate (you cannot select a file from your computer etc.) You just see a loading symbol. The majority of you who are having this trouble uploading appear to be using AVG Surf-Shield (an anti-virus software).

This is a known issue and our engineering team is aware of the problem. In the meantime though, if you are experiencing trouble uploading a video and cannot start the upload process, here are some tips to help you successfully upload your video file to the site. You'll need to disable AVG Surf-Shield, here's how:

1. Right click the AVG Anti-Virus icon on your computer
2. Select "Open AVG User Interface", then right click on "Link scanner"
3. Select "On" in Advanced Settings
4. "Enable Surf-Shield" will appear as selected. You want to un-select this option (so as to diasble/turn the option off)
5. Exit (close) your browser. Then reopen the browser again and visit YouTube. You should now be able to upload again

low and behold I run AVG.....

I Can't believe AVG never figure out or notice that AVG antivirus prevented people from uploading from Youtube since I'm sure there should be some AVG users and employees who use both AVG and Youtube upload at the same.

Same for me, the upgrade was slow, and it seems kind of buggy and crashing my slower computer. It also failed to uninstall. I had to use Revo Uninstaller Free: http://download.cnet.com/Revo-Uninstaller/3000-2096_4-10687648.html to manually uninstall AVG because the uninstaller for AVG did not work.
