The ZKOO reminds me of the Kinect, but ZKOO can be use with Android, Windows, and other operating systems.

I wonder could a regular webcam be as good as the ZKOO by using gesture tracking software which is installed on Windows, Android, or Linux.

Yes, it is like the kids version or the Kinect, or a more advance version of the Xbox Live webcam which had motion games.

It looks quite impressive. What I don't understand is why it mentions Windows and Android, but the guy in the presentation video uses a Macbook.

Windows can be installed on a Macbook by using bootcamp, or a Virtual Machine software like Virtualbox. Maybe it was the video creator decision to use a Macbook as the laptop to make the commercial theme and setting better. A Macbook may be the only laptop available while recording the commercial because Macbooks are pretty popular among the software programmer and hardware community because of their reliability, and ease of use.
