It’s said that great things come in small packages, and that’s certainly the case for young entrepreneur Alina Morse and her healthy, delicious invention, Zollipops. This 9-year old entrepreneur came up with the idea for a lollipop created from healthy ingredients that was just as good for you as it was to eat.

I had the opportunity to speak with Alina to find out more about Zollipops and how she got started creating this delicious sweet treat you’re as likely to see on the shelves of Whole Food as at your dentist.

Damn, 9 years old and most likely have enough money to cover the first 30 years of her life (schooling, college, car and a house.)

Sorry to be a negative nancy here, but she couldn't have done any of this without her parents' help. What actually happened was that she had an idea, 'hey, dad, I wish there were lollipops that weren't bad for one's teeth', and then the father took over and made everything.

It is kind of strange that no one created healthy lollipops sooner because natural sweetners from fruits and artificial sweetners which have been around for many years now.

I think there is also a chance that these Healthy Lollipops would be a fad once the news stop talking about them because lollipops are generally less popular than chocolate, gummy bears, etc, and people are cheap, so they usually buy less healthy food which is cheaper like non-organic fruits, vegetables, and meats compared to organic fruits, vegetables, and meats which cost more, but maybe better for you because the farmer did not use fertilizers, and chemicals during the growing cycle.

health and lollipops, no one would think that could go together.

I bet, lollipop companies thought of healthy lollipops, but may think they can't make as much money selling healthy lollipops compared to unhealthy lollipops which are basically dried sugar on a stick.

I think lollipops are not a very popular everyday snack  compared to chocolate bars, Gummy bears, Jelly Beans, and Skittles. I bet, lollipops are mostly given away to strangers on Halloween because cheap people don't want to spend the extra few bucks on more expensive and better snacks like Chocolate, Skittles, chips, nachos, soda, gum, etc, and giving away lollipops is more acceptable than peanuts with shells without a bag.

I bet, most of the cheap people who buy lollipops to give away to strangers on Halloween won't buy more expensive healthy lollipops.
