There is a new rumor going around that ZTE might create history soon – with the launch of the upcoming ZTE Star 3, where this particular handset has been touted to be the world’s first smartphone to sport a 4K display, now how about that? Surely the accompanying hardware specifications would also be pretty awe inducing, if you will.
For instance, the ZTE Star 3 is said to come with a 5.5” display that will feature a resolution count of 2160 x 3840 pixels, in addition to a pixel density of 806. Apart from that, there has been whispers of a TFT panel that comprises of a special crystal structure, which has been touted to reduce power consumption while making sure that the display’s strength is also increased.

This does look like a nice phone.
I wonder if most people can tell the difference of a 4K and 1080P display on smartphones with smaller screens than TVs and PC monitors.
I think there is not enough 4K movies and TV shows to make buying a 4K smartphone worth it.
