I've purchased shop item bold but it doesn't appear to have worked? Either that or my eyes aren't that great

What does it say when you check your active status settings from the item page? Inventory

It's ticked for active. I've turned it on and off and regardless of the setting it doesn't do anything.

It seems that the shop item doesn't change anything.

I've tested it, it does work. Just not very bold, also might be hidden by your glow as well.
