The only mobile game that I've ever really played is Clash of Clans. It got boring fairly quickly. That being said, I don't really spend any time playing mobile games anymore!
People are definitely far too hung up on the appearance of items rather than their functionality. I always wear the cheapest clothing and shoes that I can because they work just as well as the expensive ones.
Although cooperative games like this are not my favorite, Payday 2 is probably one of the highest quality of the genre. I prefer an open-world approach to multiplayer games.
Sports games are probably the most genius genre. They're genius in the sense that each year's game is almost identical to last year's game, yet they can charge $60 for it again each year.
I think Call of Duty is more of a cookie-cutter shooter at this point. There's really nothing to make it unique from the other cookie-cutter shooters on the market like Battlefield. They basically just take last year's game, whip up a quick single player campaign, add a couple of multiplayer...
