Welcome fellow racers of the Mario Kart whatev's. After receiving some approval from the Admin himself; yours truly, Me (Uh.. please read that whole thing properly), is hosting up a Mario Kart 7 Tournament for you fellow dudes and dudettes despite our community being... a ghost town. Here you can show off your Mario Kart 7 skills to other members in this forum. If it all goes as planned, I will be hosting this once a two month or so (maybe once a month if I'm in a jolly mood.)

What is there to win?
The grand prize will go to three lucky winners. Trophies will be given to members by "User Awards" (However, I will need a mod to do that). Like Mario Kart, the trophies come in three different colors representing a certain place.
- First place will receive a lucky gold trophy. (ZOMGGOLDPIECESLOLOLOLOL)
- Second place will receive a silver prize.
- Third place receives a... fancy little bronze cup you can drink out of at the table. Yeah, that...
If you receive fourth place, then.... Oh ho ho.... Either I or one of the judges gets the privilege to do this to you.
These won't be going through the awards just yet until we see if this whole thing goes as well. If not, you can laugh at me for spending two hours setting this whole topic up and throw whatever at me that safisfies you while I walk away slowly with my suitcase, looking down with a sad frown on my face.

Rules:
1. We'll be using this simple N3DS MK Community made by Nin from the official Community Topic.
60-7437-2727-4495 - Everyone MUST enter this community. Otherwise, you'll be lost within the wilderness. *Sniff*
2. Members will be set as one set of pair racing against each other. Therefore, it's a one-on-one match.
How does it work? Well, to make this tournament last long, two people at a time will join the community by the code above, followed by a judge watching over them. The race is 150cc and All items. And player MUST select the "Random" as the stage of choice to make it a fair combat. The winner of the community moves up while the loser sadly must leave. Only Judges can announce the winner in this thread.
3. If a tournament lasts a little too long, I might have to extend it to the next day at a specific time.
4. I realized it's impossible for the Bronze Prize to be achieved. So depending on the two people who loses in the semi-finals, they will be facing each other within a sudden death (basically a normal one-on-one community race). Um.. You'll know what I mean soon enough.

Sign ups are open to a maximum of 12 contestance. The deadline ends this coming Friday, May 4th. I need about a few days to prepare. The Tournament will start at approximate around 2 PM-ish this coming Saturday May 5th (Cindo de Mayo) and end on the same day. Depending on your Time Zone, in which I live in the Central US. You can do the math. I'm too lazy... Anyway, just make a post you'll be signing up and you'll be added on here.

Contestant rules:
1. No glitching! Play fair! Any glitchers caught by our judges will be disqualified immediately.
2. Once you've chosen your character and your kart parts, you must stick with them for the entire tournament. Make a reminder or something incase you forget. So choose wisely with your best character and kart combinations. Note that the Cloud 9 kart is banned for players to use. See the judge rules below for more info.

Judge Rules:
Judges take on the role as referees. You are giving the privileges of doing whatever you want in when watching two people race. Just don't interfere with them.
1. You can follow along as they go, but you are removed the privileges using any items. Unless if you're stumbling far behind and the item roulette gives you mushrooms or any kind of boosting, then go ahead and catch up. Just be sure you come in last. (I know this might effect your scoring.)
2. You can sit at one place in a level, fool around or do whatever. Just be sure your touch screen is viewing the entire level to see how the progress is going.
3. To distinguish yourself from the people racing each other, the only given kart of choice is the Cloud 9, which represents our referee, the Green Lakitu. Therefore, the Cloud 9 kart is banned to players. Characters, Wheels, and Gliders are your only set of optional choices.

Due to tons of difficulties of not having any chances of getting to NintenDan and flame's race, the two had to race without a judge watchin over them. According to Dan himself, the results were:
NintenDan with a score of 10
flame8300 with a score of 6.
Which means our fellow Admin makes his way up.
Semi Finals
Now, with flame and Gelivable being eliminated, we now move on to the semi-finals.
Dan's opponent he must face next is.... GRK! After waiting for a while, finally, GRK can show off his kart racing skills.
Yoshian's opponent he must face next is..... his dear ol' friend SupahSonicFan! A coincidence I say? Maybe so.
Who will make it to the finals? Who will be facing each other in a sudden death? We'll find out soon enough. Yeah, that.
