I have been on so many forums throughout the years but I can always remember the first forum I joined, it was a technology forum that I spent a huge chunk of time on for just over a year and my first introduction to forums as a whole. That was back in 2004.

Back when I was a teenager in high school there was a fairly popular Final Fantasy proboards forum that I joined. They even had an IRC chatroom which conveniently introduced me to the whole IRC era.

Quick edit: I believe it was an FFVII: Advent children related forum since the movie was coming out around that time. The movie was a big deal for us FF nerds lol.

I still remember my jaw dropping to the floor when I saw it advertise in some gaming magazine. Twas good times.
Yes, we all do because they were so different from what we are using today. Although, it's not bad what we use now but the old internet was unique.
