I haven't used that but it sounds pretty easy and cool. I'm going to give it a try next time mine's clogged.I use a crumble like substance called lye, pour it in with boiling hot water from a pan and within a minute it's clog free.

Thank you for the heads up tips. I will be keeping it in mind.Takes a bit of work and you don't want to be in the area a few moments after running the hot water on it.
The plunger works quite well. We also try to prevent clogs by being careful what goes down a sink, or a toilet. We have a Pet hair drain catcher for our tub so pet fur as well as human hair doesn't go down the drain.
Unless you have something like a sieve in your sink to prevent particles from entering it, I don't see any other way of stopping it.Being careful with what goes in the sink is the major thing that anyone should do. I prefer that instead of having to unclog it which will take extra efforts.

Yeah, I knew that's the only way. I'm most likely going to get one for my sink too.I am talking about having a sieve that can help in that situation. I do have one and ut helps in most cases.
Plunger is a good old orthodox tool that keeps working without letting you down.I use a plunger if my sink is clogged. If it’s really bad, i’ll use draino.
