10th gen intel processor?

So I thought the 9th generation intel processor just came out, but apparently Best Buy is already selling the 10th generation. Didn't realize processing is moving so fast.
 
10th gen cpus will probably support DDR 5 and PCI Express 5 eventually. Though Ps4 is already using a DDR5 system RAM. While PC is still stuck with DDR4 for System RAM atm.
 
Hopefully, the 10th gen CPU will be more affordable soon, and most of the security problems like Intel Meltdown and Spectre CPU security vulnerabilities are fixed, and there are fewer security problems which are hard to fix or unfixable.

i7s and below are affordable unlike the i9s.

Depending on the i9 that you are talking about, yes that's the case. Not to say that you can get an AMD CPU that can almost match the i9 performance and work out cheaper.

I think using the money savings from buying a more affordable CPU like AMD Ryzen 7, and using some of the money savings to buy a faster video card maybe more worth it to some people who play 3D games.
