PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive 12 free games this month, beginning tomorrow.

If you're a subscriber, look for Infamous 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Virtua Fighter 5 Saints Row 2, Just Cause 2, Choplifter HD, and more across June.

Sony boasts having already released 60 titles for free for its Plus subscribers.

I rea this on IGN, I swear to god that's a pretty good deal.
Btw GracefulAssasin... I dont think it works.. every months offers only apply to existing PSN plus members.. I think

  1. Wow, it's great that they are giving us 12 free game for being a subscriber. I'm about to try to get subscribed now so I can receive my 12 free games as well. I think Play station is the best brand of systems to get. I would rather play play station games than any other brand or model. It's great to see that play-station really care about it customers by giving us perks for being a great customer to them. That is true appreciation!

Did you say free? I'm there I like free stuff, especially games. I would realistically play Infamous 2 and Virtual Fighter 5. The rest of the games are not to my liking. I've thought about subscribing to the Playstation Plus program when it first came out, but I just didn't see the use in doing so. Now that they're giving away free games, I might join to reap the benefits.

I've already had plus since last year. And I must say, even without this mega giveaway, Plus was always worth it to me. People have to realize those freebies start to really pile up. And now it's at the point you can almost forget how many games you have access to

Didn't realise it would cost that much, not really interested much in the games listed so it's not really worth it for me.

So out of the two years it's been available thus far, not one game Plus has had interested you? Nevermind the fact that these free games really start to add up fast and you can suddenly find yourself with a gigantic backlog of games to play.

It's just about what they're offering right now. It's about what they offer now, what they already offered, and what they will offer in the future.

Oh man, this was probably the best part of Sony's conference.

I'm getting the impression Sony has been learning some stuff from being buddy-buddy with Valve. Killer sales, free games...

Granted, some people call the freebies "glorified rentals", but you can access a huge backlog of games for three months at the low price of $18, not to mention you get a bunch of other features along with it.

So far, I'm really enjoying Sony's Valve-like approach to digital distribution. They still haven't started selling digital games at crazy-low prices during weekly sales, but just give it time. They will, eventually.

Would be nice to see a bit more money flowing into PSN and then mabye they might fix some of the problems with the PSN in general, also a free game here and there like Infamous 2 (FTW) will help people make that choice to pay that little bit more.

No it won't. People like to complain. Sony can give them the power to bring loved ones back from the dead anytime they want and someone will STILL complain.

I loved this when I heard it at E3, and it's a great set of games too :D I think I already downloaded quite a few of them xD

I already had some of them. But even if I had every single one of them, I'd still be happy about it because it shows just how far Plus is starting to come along.

And majority of the Plus owners only "complaint" (if you an even call this a complaint) is the fact that they're running out of hard drive space to take in all these games.

I feel like Plus is one big gimmick. A lot of times it is a game that I never would have spent any money on, but since I get it free it feels good. Only I didn't get it free. I spent one lump sum up front. And I have to download these "free" games or else I wasted my money. I just don't feel like I am getting what I wanted with this service. It really is a smart marketing technique to get me to hand over some more money, but I will not be renewing when mine expires.

I love PS+ and feel like it is worth the money. Like a previous poster said, even if they didn't do this I would still keep up my subscription, honestly the subscription is not high AT ALL compared to the prices of many other things. The free games are just a bonus, doesn't mean you have to get them. Besides I'm going to be assuming they are just going to keep adding games and other goodies with the way they revamping their service to make it more worth the small fee to get it. I'll be looking forward to what they do next. :D

Well what do you expect? Do you feel the same way about say, Netflix or Hulu Plus? Since it's the same thing, only in video game form
