Which type of Zelda game do you think is better?

2D, aka like the original, Zelda 2, Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Oracle series and Minish Cap

3D like Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword
 
I have to say 3D. I like the 2D games, but the 3D games pull me into the adventure more.
 
I'd say 3D because it gives you a more cinematic feel.

Ok so it'll work like this. All the 3D Links will get in one corner and all the 2D Links will get the other side, since their demenions don't allow them to go at an angle. Then they can duke it out in a tag team match of the ages. Of course I think 3D Links will have a flawless victory. They just have to stand at an angle and start slashing.
 
2D usually has better gameplay but 3D does stories and characters better (usually) and is more visually appealing. They both offer very different experiences and both are great IMO.
 
Some 3D games are better, some other 2D games are better.

Whether a game is good or not doesn't hinge on 3D or 2D in my opinion. More important is plot, puzzles, action, battle scenes, etc.
 
Who needs 2D and 3D when you can have 4D Zelda? The Octoroks would just POP out of the screen, and every time they attacked you, the TV screen would chuck a large rock at you. Hopefully you have a bathing suit on for the Water Temple, and... for the love of GOD, don't fall into lava.

...Okay, maybe that's not such a good idea.
