They're also idiots.... seriously, anyone who simply disrespects Wikipedia, puts it down, etc, JUST because you can edit articles any time you want, it does NOT make it unreliable.

Essentially, since they require all information to be sourced, if something you read in Wikipedia is unreliable, chances are, it's the source that's unreliable, NOT Wikipedia.

For example, GoNintendo might post something false... and Wikipedia might also have that.
But what if Wikipedia's source was GoNintendo?

Using Wikipedia as your ONLY source, might be a problem, seeing as they might want you to learn how to research on more than one site, but flat out saying "OMG u edit ur articlez so it be unreal eye a ball" is stupid.

hm...you do have a point....Wikipedia isn't that bad. Actually, I usually get all my info from it. So.....I guess TheUltimateKoopa is perfectly right. Oh, and I did pick all of the above so....yeah. Oh, and the coin thing actually makes sense but! Nintendo gets tons of money because we buy there games and some people (like me) buy like 3 of the same system and nintendo gets like 75% of it. So the coin thing is actually a great idea. XD

I'd echo this.

TUK, Actually my teachers said to don't use wikipedia because wikipedia is not a truthful site. So blame my teachers for saying that wikipedia is not a truthful site.

If that's what your teachers said, they are simply wrong. Generally speaking I find Wikipedia to be more reliable and more balanced and more up-to-date than the majority of books and websites. Every sentence is contested and checked and re-edited till it is pretty much beyond dispute.

Outside of the occasional vandal, and newbie editor, it tends to be largely accurate.

What your teachers may have meant is that it shouldn't be used as a primary source. If you want to use information you found on wikipedia in a school project, you should check the source on every claim. The information on wikipedia is only as good as the sources it is pulled from. But it's an excellent starting point. It can be good at pointing you in the right direction to reputable sources that will go into more depth.

The great thing is that if you do find something on wikipedia that is either out-of-date, less than accurate, or just plain wrong, you can fix it yourself. Just be sure to include a citation reference showing where your information came from.

I would say that Nintendo should let us watch youtube videos on your Nintendo 3DS. At least that's my opinion on that though. But I don't know if it will be possible.

I wish they would sign a deal with YouTube to accept the 3ds format to upload and watch them direct from you're 3ds, then if someone was to view it from a normal computer, it would show side by side. A man can dream though...a man can dream.....

TUK is right about Wikipedia. My teachers say I can't use it either.. -.- Anyway, I say there should be updates to all pre-installed software and free stuff from e-Shop. Like Face Raiders, more AR games, Swapnote, 3DS Sound, maybe even the Activity Log! Also, I think they should have a chat app or chat on the friend's list. I know there's Swapnote, but it's simply not enough. They should make it so you can reply to your own notes and reply more than once on Swapnote.

I'm always right. The simple thing is "Wikipedia is NOT completely unreliable". The teachers can say "Don't just use Wikipedia, but use other things as well", however, they can NOT simply say "Don't ever use Wikipedia at all", or that "Wikipedia is completely unreliable". Seriously, whenever someone says "Wikipedia is unreliable", it gets me really annoyed. If it was unreliable, why is it still around? Why is it unreliable? Because "anyone can edit it?" Yeah, that's the point. IT's meant to be editable. But does it mean everything is unreliable? What do you think the references are for? If what you see on Wikipedia is incorrect, try looking at the source/reference. If Nintendo said "Super Mario Sunshine was released in 2003", and then Wikipedia said that, citing Nintendo, then who's to blame, for example?

Anyway, on-topic...
Erm... I'm just waiting for the upcoming system update at the moment. Also, there's no such thing as the "3DS format" in terms of 3D videos.

for me personally, netflix for the uk, dedicated youtube application, dedicated twitter app, i could go on....lol. im also happy that nintendo is going less casual with friends being able to send messages etc but it could be better. nintendo needs to open up a bit more. cheers
