3DS Usage Habits?

Which level of brightness do you usually set on/ do you open power saving mode often? (I always sat on 1 and usually close power saving mode)

Do you ever use the charging cradle? (Sometimes I do, but only at home.)

Do you often put your 3DS into sleep mode? (No)
 
2/3 brightness with power save on
Always use the cradle unless I'm using the DS at the same time as charging it

And I always have it in sleep unless it's nighttime, the flashy blue light illuminates me room when I'm trying to sleep

HOW BRIGHT MY 3DS IS:

Usually at the 3rd brightness setting. Whenever in public, it is on the 1st brightness with the volume off, and the 3D off.

USE THE CRADLE OR NOT:

Mainly at home. In other places it is just the cable.

SLEEP MODE OR NOT:

Only use sleep mode if I am in public, so that way I can possibly StreetPass someone with a 3DS.

No, I don't use the charging cradle.

And no, I don't use sleep mode. I never use that, regardless of the device in question. Screw power saving, if I want to 'save power', I use this thing called the 'off button'. Having machines 'on' while not being used, power saving or not, seems like the most stupid, non environmentally friendly idea I've ever heard of.
 
I just don't understand how exactly why I use the lowest brightness but the battery life is still crappy as...whatever. I still remember how I used to charge my GBA[font="helvetica, arial, sans-serif"] [/font][font="helvetica, arial, sans-serif"]SP once a month. Now in the holidays I charge my 3DS once... A DAY![/font]

I really don't agree with this, if you're taking a quick break from your game you don't want to turn it off do you? What if you're having a really quick one like 5 - 10 minutes, leaving the 3ds on and open etc is worse for the environment then power saving...

I use the full brightness level without power saving , I don't use the charging cradle, and I will sometimes put the 3DS in sleep mode for spotpass to download new stuff.
 
I have it set to level 2 brightness, power saving mode off (it screws with the colour balance too much), I've never yet used the cradle, and I'll put my 3DS into sleep mode if I'm leaving it for less than 30 minutes, but any longer than that and I just turn it off (unless I'm in the middle of a game and far from a save point. Then I don't really have any choice but to put it into sleep mode).
 
I have it set on the 4th brightness level, power saving on, I don't really use the cradle, unless I know I won't have time to play with my 3DS and it needs to charge, but other than that I never use it, and I only use sleep mode if I'm in the middle of a game or something, and I either have to go do something or I just take a break for few minutes.
 
I have it on the lowest and yes, power saving is on.
When I'm using the 3ds at the moment, no; when I'm not using it, yes.
Only at parties and at public places.
